A Few Words About Me. I was born on June 26, 1961 in Elbląg, but my entire professional and public life has been connected with Gdańsk.

Here in Gdańsk, I graduated from the VI General Secondary School in 1980.

Since the late 1970s, I have been involved in opposition activities, cooperating with ROPCiO, a member of the Young Poland Movement, and working with the underground structures of Solidarity.

After the system transformation, I pursued a career in journalism, collaborating with international news agencies such as Agence France‐Presse, Reuters, and Deutsche Presse‐Agentur. I am also co‑author of the book Gdańsk According to Lech Wałęsa and prepared the memoirs of Danuta Wałęsa titled Dreams and Secrets.

Parliamentary Activity.
In 2019, I was elected as a Member of Parliament representing Koalicja Obywatelska (the Civic Coalition).

Representing Gdańsk and the Pomeranian region, I advocate for the values that are dear to me: freedom, solidarity, and democracy.
